Go Visit Inishowen Welcomes New Trail Developments and Launch of Active Inishowen Campaign
Niall McCaughan, Manager of Go Visit Inishowen, has warmly welcomed the development of new trail networks across the Inishowen Peninsula and new video promoting them, describing the initiative as a major boost for tourism and outdoor recreation in the region.
The newly released promotional video, which is now live across Facebook and Instagram, showcase the three newly developed Trail Networks by Inishowen Trails and mark the official launch of the new Active Inishowen webpage. The campaign is designed to highlight the peninsula’s growing reputation as a leading destination for accessible walking and cycling experiences.
Speaking about the initiative, Niall said: “The development of these new trail networks is a hugely positive step for tourism in Inishowen. Outdoor activity tourism continues to grow in popularity, and these trails provide visitors and locals alike with more opportunities to explore our spectacular landscapes in an accessible and sustainable way. The new video produced is superb and shows this region to its best; it certainly is a walker’s paradise. The launch of the Active Inishowen platform makes it easier than ever for walkers of all levels to plan their visit and experience everything this beautiful peninsula has to offer. Separately, in partnership with Failte Ireland, Go Visit Inishowen will be launching in March/April a further series of trails focusing directly on some of the unique aspects of Inishowen’s tourism offer.”
