Lady’s Bay, locally known as the Shore Front Beach, is located on Buncrana’s waterfront, approximately 450 metres north of the Inishowen Tourist Office. Situated opposite the Buncrana Leisure Centre, it is just a five-minute walk from Buncrana Town Centre and marks the starting point of the scenic Buncrana Shore Path.

🌊 About the Beach
Known as Lady’s Bay during Victorian times and now more commonly referred to as the Shore Front Beach, this sheltered cove sits at the heart of Buncrana’s coastline. Two rivers, the Crana River and the Owenkillew River, meet Lough Swilly at either end of the bay, creating an attractive setting for walking and bird watching. With excellent facilities nearby and direct access to the Buncrana Shore Path, it is an ideal place to begin exploring the coastline.
