Shroove Beach, also known as Stroove Beach, is a small Blue Flag beach near Greencastle on the eastern coast of the Inishowen Peninsula. Overlooked by the historic Stroove Lighthouse and located near the mouth of Lough Foyle, the beach offers beautiful coastal views in a peaceful setting. Its sandy shore and scenic surroundings make it a popular spot for swimming, short walks and enjoying the natural beauty of Inishowen.

🐕 Dogs on the Beach
Dogs are welcome at Shroove Beach but must be kept under control at all times. As a Blue Flag beach, dogs are not permitted on the beach from 12 pm to 7 pm between 1 June and 15 September.

🛟 Lifeguard Information
Lifeguards are on duty from 1 July to the end of August and on the first two weekends in September. First aid is available when the lifeguard service is operating.
