The Urris Lakes Loop Walk is a challenging and highly rewarding hike through some of the most remote and unspoilt countryside in the Inishowen Peninsula, Co. Donegal. Starting at the atmospheric Leenan Strand, the trail quickly moves into quiet, remote countryside. Walkers follow a mix of bog road, ancient cart tracks, and open hillside terrain. Along the way, you’ll experience dramatic scenery and a strong sense of isolation in one of Donegal’s most beautiful natural areas.
