Bike Week 2026 – Active Inishowen
Active Inishowen is bringing an exciting programme of events to Inishowen this May as part of Bike Week 2026.
Taking place from 9th–17th May, the week features a series of FREE guided eBike cycles, offering a fantastic opportunity for people of all abilities to get out, get active, and explore the peninsula’s scenic routes.
Participants can enjoy professionally led rides with eBikes supplied by Inishowen Bike Hire, making the experience accessible whether you’re new to cycling or returning after a break.

👉 What to expect:
- 8 guided eBike cycles across Inishowen
- Small group sizes (maximum 10 participants per ride)
- A variety of routes, from easy to more challenging
- Free participation, with bikes and equipment provided
🔧 Free Bike Maintenance Clinics
In addition to the guided cycles, a number of free drop-in bike maintenance clinics will take place throughout the week. These sessions are open to everyone—just bring your own bike along:
- Moville – 10th May
- Muff – 13th May
- Buncrana – 16th May
- Carndonagh – 17th May
⚠️ Important Booking Info:
- One booking per person across Bike Week (to ensure fair access)
- Please cancel in advance if you can’t attend
- Multiple bookings may be removed to allow more people to participate
This programme is part of a wider initiative to make cycling more accessible and enjoyable across the region, encouraging people of all abilities to get active outdoors .
