Love Donegal Day 2026 takes place on Thursday, 17 September, bringing people across Donegal and around the world together to celebrate everything that makes the county special.
Now in its seventh year, the campaign invites everyone with a connection to Donegal – whether you live here, work here, visit regularly or call it home from afar – to share what you love about the county.
From our landscapes and coastal scenery to local communities, culture, heritage, businesses and people, #LoveDonegal Day is an opportunity to showcase Donegal to a global audience and connect with the Donegal diaspora around the world.
Get involved
Share a photo, video or story on social media showing what Donegal means to you and help celebrate the people, places and experiences that make the county unique.
Use the hashtags #LoveDonegal and #DúnnanGallAbú, and tag @donegal.ie and @govisitdonegal_.
