We are not only one of the most stunning parts of the world famous Wild Atlantic Way, and home to the Inishowen 100, but also the gateway to the historic Walled City of Derry and the Causeway Coast and Glens. Our Visitor Centre based in Buncrana will meet all your visitor needs showcasing the best of this part of Ireland’s unique tourist offer. It also includes a Motorhome parking facility and small retail shop with local arts and crafts on site, all located beside stunning sandy beaches and Inishowen’s largest town. The Inishowen 100” may sound like a Formula One race, but it gets its name from the approximate distance in miles of the sign-posted circuit, which starts in Newtoncunningham on the Inishowen Peninsula.

New Digital Arts & Crafts Kiosk Brings Inishowen’s Creative Story to Life on the Wild Atlantic Way

A pioneering new digital initiative is strengthening Inishowen’s position as a must-visit destination on the Wild Atlantic Way, connecting visitors directly with the peninsula’s rich and distinctive creative heritage. 2026 Inishowen Visitor Map Guide Launched

Its here! Go Visit Inishowen’s popular Visitor Map Guide is back this year and we were delighted to hand over the first copy to Jaimee Louise,  Sales & Marketing at the Inishowen Gateway Hotel.
