Inishowen is renowned not only as one of the most beautiful and northerly parts of Ireland on the Wild Atlantic Way, but also for its rich and authentic arts and crafts heritage.

This spectacular peninsula continues to inspire a diverse creative community working across fine art, traditional craft, contemporary design, textiles, pottery, and bogwood sculpture. Each piece reflects the character of the landscape and is created with skill, care, and a strong sense of place.

Along the Arts & Crafts Trail, visitors are invited to step inside working studios and workshops, meet local makers, and hear the stories behind their creative practice. It is an opportunity to discover how traditional skills and contemporary techniques are combined to produce unique, handcrafted work rooted in Inishowen.

Visitors can view and purchase original artworks directly from the makers. And if space is limited in your luggage, many artists can arrange shipping—simply ask and take a piece of Inishowen creativity home with you.
