We are really sorry to learn of the fire at one of Inishowen’s flagship tourism projects, Doagh Famine Village. We were only up with Pat a few weeks ago as he and the team were preparing for the new tourism season. This is a popular, unique and much-loved attraction celebrating our heritage and cultural life in this part of Ireland. The work in building the heritage collection and the complex over the decades has been colossal and a labour of love for Pat and Majella.

Hopefully we will soon see this enterprise back up and running again, and we call on those who have the resources to assist in making this happen. We at Go Visit Inishowen, Donegal are here for you, Pat, and will support you in any way we can.
