Standing tall at 250 metres above sea level, Grian Standing tall at 250 metres above sea level, Grianán of Aileach is the highest stone ringfort in Ireland. Its construction dates back to 1700 BC when the Tuatha Dé Danann invaded Ireland and built stone forts on top of strategic hills.

The views from the fort are truly breathtaking. If your visiting the Inishowen Peninsula this summer, put this on your list.

Who's up for sailing the Seven Seas? Well, not qui Who's up for sailing the Seven Seas? Well, not quite the seven but the North Atlantic is all you need 🌊. Get your captains hat on this summer with @amazinggraceyachtcharters and watch the dolphins frolic in the water around you 🐬. It's something different and a great bit of craic 😀.

Great photo of a lovely sea stack just off Lenan F Great photo of a lovely sea stack just off Lenan Fort. There's plenty of these rock pillars scattered along the rugged Donegal coastline.
