Port Bán (Dunree Beach) is a sheltered, sandy beach accessed via a grassy track through a field. Close to the track entrance is a plaque dedicated to the tragic story of a WW2 Wellington W5653 bomber carrying 3 young pilots that crashed in the Urris Hills above Port Bán.through Port Bán is a lovely beach, in a quiet location. The beach here is sheltered at either end. The water is easily accessible, though sections are a little stony.
