The Railway Tavern

We warmly welcome you to the Railway Tavern and sincerely hope you enjoy your food, drinks and entertainment with us. Our restaurant is located on the shores of Lough Swilly, at Fahan, Co. Donegal, on the Railway Tavern premises, formerly the Station House of the old Lough Swilly Railway Company.

Its cosy, traditional interior has retained much of its original charm and is perfect for intimate gatherings, a quiet pint or a meal for all the family, young and old. At the centre of the Railway Tavern’s restaurant is the open grill fire where patrons get to watch the chef cook their steak or burger, adding to the anticipation of the meal!
