For those seeking a challenging but hugely rewarding hike through remote country, this walk offers it all (please be aware that the climbs are strenuous and the ground rough). Starting at the wonderfully atmospheric Leenan Strand, the route follows a mix of bog road, ancient cart tracks and open country.
